This is now my total passion! I enjoy making films that are informative, promotional and helpful. Filming was an integral part of my previous tennis court business, which enabled me to show the involvement and techniques of resurfacing and painting tennis courts (for those who were interested), so these films could help and advise others.
Now the world is my oyster and with so many unusual subject matters available too!
I set up a business of painting and maintaining Club and private tennis courts tenniscourtsyorkshire.co.uk and developed new techniques to resurrect even the most decrepit of tennis courts, and these ideas were all added to my films. I carried out my tennis court business for nearly 17 years, before venturing into voiceover work and filmmaking.
For my first career, I set up a glass engraving studio in the Yorkshire Dales, specialising in one-off commissioned pieces. This meant my engravings and carvings were unique and personal to the recipient and often told a story. Over the years, I was commissioned to create pieces which were presented to members of the Royal Family and many other dignitaries, and have commemorative windows in Churches as well as in a Cathedral. I carried out my glass engraving for nearly 25 years before venturing into the tennis court business.
